Grrr. Deviantart seems to have changed the way we browse through art. Instead of a page having a limited number of pieces (I think it was 12), and a button to select the next 12, it now uses a continuous vertical selection of work that loads as you browse (akin to facebook). Now, it may be my browser (IE8 on my work PC) but when sifting through of a lunchhour, it keeps refreshing and jumping back to the top! Very annoying and offputting. Anyone else finding this problem or do I need to change browsers? I use Chrome at home so will give that a go. (I should mention that I'm a basic and not a premium member).

If there's one thing I'm very very good at, it's procrastination! Many 'experts' will tell you that there are 7 reasons why people procrastinate (google it). I think (but I'm not 100% sure) that the main reason for me is the perfectionist in me. I tend to put off starting or continuing a piece of work because of the subconscious (I reckon it's subconscious or maybe I'm trying to convince myself that it is) fear of it not being absolutely perfect when finished. Of course, no piece of work is perfect. What exactly is perfect?? Art is subjective. I just wish I could get stuck into things more easily. I accept the long time it takes me to produ
